Privacy Policy

How Averon Institute collects, uses and protects your information — in plain English, because a policy you can’t understand protects no one.

1. What We Collect

We collect only what we need to run the service. When you create an account: your name, email address and password. When you purchase: your order history — which programs you bought, when, and for how much. When you study: your course progress, including lessons completed, exam attempts and scores.

We don’t ask for, and don’t want, anything beyond that. No date of birth, no phone number, no browsing dossier.

2. How We Use It

Your information exists to deliver the service: signing you in, tracking your progress, scoring your exams, issuing your certificates, and keeping your credentials verifiable. We also use your email for transactional messages — receipts, exam results and important account notices.

We may occasionally email you about new programs or meaningful updates. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link, and opting out never affects transactional messages or your access.

3. Payment Processing

Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor over an encrypted connection. Your card number never touches our servers and is never stored by us — we receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the basic order details needed for your receipt.

4. Cookies & Sessions

We use cookies for the boring, essential things: keeping you signed in, remembering your session, and keeping the site secure. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising, and we do not sell browsing data to ad networks.

5. Sharing

We never sell your personal information. Full stop.

We share data only with the small set of service providers required to operate — payment processing, email delivery and hosting — each bound to use it solely to provide their service to us. Beyond that, we disclose information only if the law genuinely requires it.

6. Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Certification records are kept longer, so that credentials remain verifiable by employers years after they were earned — that permanence is part of what makes the credential valuable.

If you delete your account, we remove your personal data and retain only the minimal record needed to keep any credentials you earned verifiable. If you’d like that removed as well, tell us — we’ll invalidate the credential and erase the record.

7. Your Rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time. Email support@averoninstitute.org from your account address and tell us what you need — we’ll confirm the request and complete it promptly, always within 30 days.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy or about your data? Email us at support@averoninstitute.org or use the contact page. A person, not an auto-responder, will reply.
